Happy Saturday

I love breakfasts. Undeniable fact. Unchangeable trait. Weekend breakfasts are the best – there’s more time for savoring, more time for playing around and more time for an extra cup of tea…or two.

Breakfast today meant tea, fried eggs, pan-fried ham and tomatoes, with a side of toasted pan au levain, of course. And that would have been the end of it, if little Miss hadn’t suddenly decided she wanted pancakes.  So there were pancakes.

And to celebrate Saturday, there was ice cream too!
