I write this sitting in the kitchen sink.
Actually, that’s highly unlikely. Once upon a time, I was 16 and I read I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith and fell in love. It validated my passion for journaling and, in my own not-so-humble opinion, is one of the best opening lines in all of literature.
Let’s cover some basics – I love food. I love everything about it – the history, the celebration of a meal (because really, every meal should be that enjoyable), the intricacy of all the senses involved. And food? It loves me back. I was in a rut and this is what pulled me out of it. During the day, I work for some very important people who entrust me to do some confidential things. At home, when there’s bread in the oven or garlic on the stove, it’s never a secret. The kitchen is pretty honest that way. I love to travel and could spend ages discussing where I’ve been, where I want to go, who I’ve met and, of course, what I ate along the way. Do you love to travel? Let’s talk.
I hope you enjoy what I’ve got to say – sometimes I say too much! But it’s all from excitement and passion, and I think that’s what matter the most.
